Heating Systems Ltd is a successful underfloor heating company which has been in
business for over 25 years. They have worked on many high profile
projects such as the British Museum.
The Challenge
FloRad was launching a new website and wanted to ensure
that they were getting results. They wanted to increase site visits
and client leads from the internet in a measurable way.
The Solution
Allison Cleaves Web Media developed an online marketing
strategy which aimed to increase website traffic by 100% in the
first year and increase the number of customer contacts initiated
from the website. The marketing strategy included four components:
Search Engine Optimisation - The FloRad site was
optimised using meta tags and then submitted to several online
directories and search engines. A paid listing in the Yahoo directory
was purchased which allowed the site to be indexed more quickly.
Online Advertising - FloRad was listed on carefully
selected local, national and specialist online directories. Paid
advertising options were also purchased including several Flash
banner ads and sponsored links.
Print Advertising- Print advertisments were taken
out in several publications and directories that targeted FloRad’s
market base. The Ads were designed to encourage readers to visit
the FloRad website.
Performance Statistics- A monthly Performance Statistics
package helped FloRad review the progress of their site. The reports
helped us monitor the effect online and offline marketing efforts
had on website activity. We were able to measure the results of
campaigns and modify our market strategy according to performance.
The Results
FloRad saw a significant increase in traffic after
the launch of their new site. They have increase the usership of
their website by over 100% and are able to monitor the effects of
current and future marketing campaigns.
